Congrats to all my classmates!

Welcome to my favorite teachers!

In this week's post, I would like to talk about my future teacher colleagues. In one of this week's classes, many of my Master's classmates made some presentations related to what they intend to talk about in their Master's Thesis. Many of them developed ideas for projects that can be carried out to work on English as a foreign language for secondary students.

I came back home thinking about the amount of ideas that a person can come up with and, above all, the imagination and creativity all my workmates demonstrated they all had! I think that sometimes people focus too much on themselves and get stuck when they BELIEVE that they are not capable of developing their own ideas or projects. The truth is that this can happen and it can overwhelm us a lot, but it is key to know that NOTHING HAPPENS if this occurs! Nevertheless, here comes the pointer idea of this post: ask others, get informed, talk to your colleagues! I consider this is crucial to keep in mind we are never alone, especially when it comes to any educational centre. We have a huge quantity of teammates we can ask for help and from whom we can get amazing ideas! Obviously, this is something I already had in mind, but yesterday, listening to my classmates and their astonishing ideas, I completely confirmed so!

I considered some of their ideas were really motivating and I wish I had had the opportunity to learn English in such an original and creative way! I would have loved to learn while pretending to be at Hogwarts, wouldn't you? And what about learning with TikTok? My first toughts about this social media were: "I hate this and its countless dances" but nowadays I'm starting to love it for the amount of resources it can provide us with! Also music or mindfulness appeared in their presentations as some other tools teachers could include in class. I found them wonderful and really useful too!

I have no doubt that your projects are a guaranteed success and that your future students will love them so much (also the court will do so in your TFM defense! hahaha). What I have very clear is that many of your ideas will be part of my future lessons and I will remember all of you, the ones who helped me to expand my educational resources. In addition, on this occasion, I would like to emphasize once again the importance of cooperative learning, help others and receive their help too. The world is much better this way, isn't it?

PS: good luck with your TFMs, you will rock it, I'm sure!
